Queensland Labour Hire Licensing Act 2017

Queensland has a labour hire licensing scheme. A person or business providing labour hire services in Queensland may need to be licensed as a labour hire provider.

AviationWork™ Position

AviationWork™ provides specialist aircraft maintenance engineering support as LAME B1 & AME Structures/Mechanical. Where services are provided as specialist technical support and not as labour hire, they may be exempt.

Where services are not within the requirement to be registered as a labour hire provider, services are provided under a formal written agreement between the client and AviationWork™.

Requirement

A written MOU between client and AviationWork must be in place prior to commencement of any work where the exemption applies.
